My Approach:

In organizing and facilitating the "Women Achieving in Healthcare" panel at the Black Health Connect Conference 2023, I aimed to create an engaging environment that spotlighted the remarkable achievements and diverse journeys of Black women in healthcare. By directing the conversation arc thoughtfully, I guided the discussion through key themes of leadership, resilience, and advocacy, ensuring a cohesive narrative that resonated with both the panelists and the audience. I incorporated storytelling principles, encouraging each panelist to share personal anecdotes and experiences that illustrated their unique challenges and triumphs. This approach not only brought authenticity to the conversation but also created emotional connections, allowing attendees to reflect on their own journeys. The dynamic exchange fostered an empowering atmosphere where insights were shared, and strategies were explored, paving the way for future generations of women leaders in healthcare.
